Envie de Sud is a 100% non-smoking oasis. This applies to the entire interior, including the bedrooms and flats, as well as the communal garden. If necessary, smokers can use the public area on rue Broussan, near the main entrance.
Payment methods accepted: Bank transfer, Cash, Credit card, PayPal. No cheques or holiday vouchers.
Booking process & cancellation policy
I would like to make a reservation. How do I proceed?
Booking process with deposit payment by e-mail or telephone:
- As soon as you make a reservation by telephone or e-mail, we will send you written confirmation by e-mail, together with our bank details.
- By paying a 20% deposit, you confirm your booking. (Bank transfer).
- We expect a further 30% up to 60 days before arrival.
- and the remaining 50% 30 days before arrival. Please contact us if payment deadlines are a problem for you at short notice.
- If you book at the last minute, you leave your credit card as a guarantee. On departure, you pay in cash or by credit card.
Booking process Direct booking tool (external partners such as elloha/ booking.com/ Airbnb…)
You can also book via the direct booking form on the front page of our website or with various partners (booking.com/ Airbnb). In this case, you are redirected to a platform where you immediately complete the payment process by credit card. You pay 100% of the amount in advance. You do not benefit from any discounts and reductions for children’s meals are not taken into account.
Subsequent changes are complex and time consuming. We are happy to give you priority in dealing with the supplier directly. Thank you for your understanding.
According to the posted calendar, we are fully booked? Not necessarily! It’s best to ask around.
For technical reasons, we cannot reproduce all the possibilities on the platform. So we may still have a room or flat available, even if you see that a booking is not possible. To be sure, call us or send us an e-mail.
What are your cancellation conditions?
Cancellation conditions apply regardless of where you book. Directly with us or on platforms such as airbnb, booking…
- Up to 60 days before arrival, cancellations are free of charge.
- If you cancel between 30 and 59 days before arrival, you will be charged 50%,
- For cancellations made between 1 and 29 days before arrival, a cancellation fee of 100% will be charged.
- In the event of cancellation of a direct booking, we will immediately put the room/apartment up for sale and charge only for the days on which the room/apartment is actually empty. This service is not self-evident.
- If you wish to cancel a booking with an external partner, please contact the booking partner directly, as it is with them that you have concluded the contract. We will co-operate to the best of our ability if someone contacts us on your behalf.
- We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance for exceptional events such as illness or accident. Such annual insurance is very inexpensive and saves you and us a lot of expense and hassle in the event of an event.
- If you want total flexibility in planning your holiday, book what’s still available at the last minute.
We cooperate in the case of unique and 100% unforeseeable events or when the State prohibits travel (Covid).
If you can’t travel for a valid reason and you really couldn’t foresee it, we always try to find a good solution. However, we cannot and will not jeopardise the profitability of our business out of kindness.
You should be aware that, unfortunately, some customers make non-binding reservations in several different types of accommodation, only to decide at the last minute where they want to travel. This is unacceptable for a small business and, what’s more, it’s not in keeping with our values of respect.
Envie de Sud is a small tourist structure that needs to be well booked in season in order to be able to continually invest in the quality of its accommodation. We don’t want to turn away our regular customers because we think we’re “full”. Thank you for your understanding.
